Why do you only use organic cleaning products?

We want to offer cleaning services that are safe for our cleaners, our customers, their family and pets, and the environment. Chemical cleaning products can be very harmful and cause indoor air pollution. Also, those who are chemically sensitive do not react well to certain cleaning products.

Will the products you use actually clean my house?

Yes. All these products are tried, tested and true. You do not need to use chemical cleaning products to have a clean home. Natural cleaners and natural ingredients are VERY effective. To disinfect, we use a medical grade botanical disinfectant that kills 99.99% of germs and bacteria.

How much time will I need?

Before we clean your home, we will do an over-the-phone consultation with you to determine your cleaning needs. We have a 3-hour minimum cleaning requirement to ensure that the common areas (kitchen, living room and bathroom) will get a basic clean, but our recommended time will be based on your square footage and specific cleaning requests/priorities.

How much do you charge?

Your hourly rate will depend on where you are located in Niagara. Please do not hesitate to contact our office for a quote or consultation.

Why do you charge hourly?

We charge an hourly rate (per cleaner) to ensure you are getting exactly what you are paying for. Many companies will charge a flat rate for each visit but cleaning time and number of cleaners are not always consistent. For example, you could have 2 cleaners for 3 hours during one visit, then 1 cleaner for 3 hours the next, while being charged the same rate.

What kind of insurance do you have?

Rest assured, we are bonded and fully insured!

Do I need to provide supplies and equipment?

We bring all of the supplies and equipment needed to clean your home or business. For the safety of our cleaners and for you, requests to use anything different must be approved by a Miss’es Clean office member beforehand.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Yes. The consultation we do over the phone serves as a contract. We will send it to you electronically to be signed. For insurance purposes, we will not clean until the consultation has been signed and returned to us.

How do you protect my information?

All of your information is protected and all keys are coded so it cannot be traced back to you. We have an extensive hiring process and require all cleaners to submit a police check.

How many cleaners will come?

Usually just one. For bigger cleans, we will send more than one cleaner. Please note that our rate is hourly, per cleaner.

Will I get the same cleaner every time?

We cannot guarantee this each and every time as we work around our cleaner’s availability. If there is a cleaner you like, we will try our best to accommodate your request.

What is your cleaning guarantee?

If you are unhappy with your service, we ask that you notify us within 24 hours (or arrival home after being away) to ensure a cleaning guarantee. We will send the cleaner back to your home to fix the issue within 5 days of the cleaning. Please note that if you did not accept our recommended cleaning time, we may not be able to guarantee a complete clean. If more time is needed, we will contact you within the first hour of the clean to request more time and/or request cleaning priorities from you.

Why did you choose to have a retail shop?

We want every household to have the opportunity to go green. There are so many products available to the consumer that claim to be “natural” but are actually very harmful. Then there is the issue of accessibility. The products we actually want can only be ordered online, with shipping and handling costs and a wait time of 5 – 10 business days. We broke these barriers and made them conveniently available to you!

How do we choose our products?

We are always on the lookout for the best products for you and your home. Every product that comes into Miss’es Clean must be organic, natural and safe for the home and environment. Most products are well-known to the public while others are local hidden gems. Rest assured these products are tested by us to ensure quality before they are made available to you!
